Jim Al-Khalili, hoogleraar in de theoretische natuurkunde aan de University of Surrey, gaat in deze twee video’s in op een van de meest perplexe wetenschappelijke theorie ooit geconstrueerd: quantum physics.

Albert Einstein haatte het idee dat de natuur, op het meest basale niveau, gebaseerd is op toeval. In de jaren ’30 dacht Einstein een cruciaal probleem in quantum physics te hebben ontdekt, maar totdat het werd getest in de jaren ’60 werd dat niet serieus genomen.
